Advanced Manufacturing Discussion in Alaska – UEDA/IEDC Conferences 9/28 – 10/7

Anchorage is fortunate to be hosting the University Economic Development Association and the International Economic Development Council annual conferences in Anchorage this fall.

The first session of the bridging session will be on advanced manufacturing.  I’ll be moderating the panel that includes:

  • Charles A. Hayes, CEcD, President & CEO, Research Triangle Regional Partnership
  • Dr. John Provo, Director, Office of Economic Development, Virginia Tech
  • Charles E. Shoopman, Jr., Assistant Vice President, University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service

We’ll be addressing issues related to government, industry and education involvement in the challenges and opportunities of economic development.
